EXPLANATORY NOTES
Outstanding Energy Manager (EM) of the Year
Objective
To recognize outstanding EMs who have demonstrated leadership and played an instrumental role in promoting and driving energy efficiency improvement within theirorganisations.
Eligibility Criteria
This award category is open to all appointed EMs in their respective EENP companies. Nominated EMs must have been in service with the company for at least two years and can concurrently perform other duties (i.e. energy manager need not be a full-time post).
Assessment Criteria
Qualifying candidates are evaluated based on the following:
  • Number and quality of energy efficiency measures/projectsimplemented across the organisation.
  • Number and quality of energy efficiency initiatives/programmes to raise the level of awareness of energy efficiency across the organisation.
  • Individual achievements and awards in the area of energy efficiency.
Past winners of this award will be evaluated based on new initiatives/measures/programmes and achievements that were not submitted in their previous application(s).
Application
Applicants shall submit asummary providing highlights of key accomplishments that support the eligibility of the EM for the award. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
Applicants shall provide detailed and complete information and the necessary supporting documents.If the space provided is insufficient, a separate sheet may be used. Information that is not yet available or not applicable must be indicated accordingly.
