Second Nine weeks’ Project

Directions: You will design a trading card for each of the nine planets that make up our Solar System. The tenth card will be of our very own, Sun. To create your cards, you may use a 3x5 notecard without lines or cut out cards from cardstock paper. You are required to illustrate, color, and label a picture of each individual planet on the front of your card. On the back side, you will write down important facts from each planet. These are the facts that you are required but not limited to include; name, diameter, average distance from the Sun, mass, surface gravity, average temperature, length of sidereal day, length of year, and number of moons. Be creative and unique and make sure your cards are visually appealing so you can trade your cards with anyone on trade day!

This assignment will be worth 200 points. Here is the grading rubric for your trading cards. This assignment will be due December 16th and Rough Draft due December 9th.
