Prize for best Christmas Bling ( tinsel required ) in each class .

SINGLE PHASE COMPETITION ( 2 nd half of course timed )

Course will be designed and judged by listed official BS designerand judge .

Classes 3 & 4 will include 1st round Dengie Qualifier. Pony Club Rules .

Class 1 :Christmas Pudding Stakes 50 – 60 cm ( may be assisted but NOT lead ) 12 yrs and under .

Class 2 : snowflake Stakes 60 to 70 cm

Class 3: Snowman Stakes 70 to 80 cm to include Debut Dengie 1st round qualifier .

Class 4 : Christmas Cracker 80 to 90 cm to include Dengie 1st round qualifier.

Class 5 : Mistletoe stakes 90 to 100 cm .Kindly Sponsored by Hornsbury Hayledge and Animal Feeds .

Entry Fees : £13 per person per class to include 1st aid .

RULES

Ages as at 1st January 2016

Start times will be issued for each rider in each class. These may alter on day depending on how fast classes run. Please be prepared to start earlier or later than set time.

This competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2016. The judge’s decision will be final.

Classes will be SINGLE PHASE jumping, the second half will be timed. All competitors may jump the second half unless they have been eliminated.

No rider may ride more than one horse/pony in any one team. No horse/pony can be ridden in more than two classes.

Teams must present themselves for tack inspection a minimum of 15 minutes before they jump. It is the responsibility of the Team Manager to familiarise the competitors with the correct turnout requirements and that spurs letters will be required.

Correct protective helmets must be worn and fitted with the Pony Club tag before the day.

The wearing of body protectors is recommended.

The warm up arena will be stewarded and will run with one team competing and two teams warming up.

The jumps in the warm up arena must not exceed the height of the jumps in the main ring.

The organisers reserve the right to alter/cancel classes at their discretion. Also change start times. Please be prepared and allow enough time for classes to run early or late.

Late changes/additions to entries will be accepted at the organiser’s discretion.

Liability: Neither the landowners, organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators o any other persons or property whatsoever.

The organiser of the Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
