Seaside Trip to Walton on the Naze Monday 3Rd July 2017

Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,

SEASIDE TRIP TO WALTON ON THE NAZE – MONDAY 3RD JULY 2017

We will be taking both Year 1 and 2 to Walton on the Naze on Monday 3rd July.

Walton on the Naze is in Essex, it is a seaside town in which the children can have fun paddling in the water and enjoy the beach and the surrounding areas.

Parent Helpers are welcome on this trip but unfortunately, we can only offer limited spaces for each class. Therefore, to make it fair to all parents names will be put in a hat. Consideration will be taken to those parents who have not previously attended the KS1 seaside trip.

·  We will be leaving school by 9.15am and shall return to school at 5pm

·  The cost of the trip is £15 each child and £15 per adult

·  Your child will be provided with a packed lunch but please pack extra drinks (no fizzy please), suncream (please put on suncream before your child comes to school), hat and an extra set of clothes etc.

·  Please provide and inform a member of staff of any medication that your child may need on that day i.e. travel sickness tablets etc.

·  Please be aware that you may not necessarily be travelling with your child on the coach but you will be able to spend time with them once we are on the beach.

·  Please fill in the permission slip below and return it to either the class teacher or school office.

·  If you would like to come and volunteer to help on this day, please tick the box.

·  You will receive a letter to confirm whether you have been given a parent place on the trip.

·  The letter will state whether you have paid and have been to all our meetings and instructions on how you can help on the day.

·  If you are allocated a parent place on the trip, you must attend all the meetings otherwise your name will be removed.

We will be having a Coffee Morning nearer the time with further details nearer the time and you will be able to ask any questions you may have regarding the trip.
