Adult Learn to Row Program

SWEEP CAMP

September 9th – September 25th

The SCRC Sweep Camp is a sixteen-hour group training program that will enable a rower to safely and successfully row in club sweep boats. This program has four components: Safety, Land Skills, Development of Basic Rowing Ability (on the water) and Knowledge of Club Rules. All SCRC coaches are certified providing camp attendees skilled and experienced instruction.

Camp Schedule

Tuesday 7am-9amSeptember 9th, 16th, 23rd

Thursday 7am-9amSeptember 11th, 18th, 25th

Sunday 8am-10amSeptember 14th, 21st

The camp fee is $200 and includes group lessons and use of club equipment. SCRC membership is not required to participate in the camp. Release of Liability: The undersigned participant agrees to hold SCRC, its employees, agents and volunteers harmless from and against any loss, damages, liability, and expense incurred by reason of any injury, actions, suits, or proceedings brought against or involving SCRC or its agents, which relate to or arise out of the above named person’s involvement in activities

Health Insurance Verification: The undersigned participant confirms that there is adequate health insurance currently in force and will be in force during the entire course of the participants involvement in the above designated activity, to cover all injuries and illnesses that occur as a result of and/or during the participation in these activities. Further, the undersigned agree to allow SCRC and its agents to administer emergency medical response and/or treatment to any injury or illness that may occur and to release SCRC and its agents from all liability arising out of such treatment.
