Job Description
Business Intelligence Coordinator
Status of role:Full time
Reports to:Head of Development
Direct reports: N/A
Base location:sportscotland office, Caledonia House – Edinburgh
Job Purpose:
To manage the CRM system to provide insight and data analysis to enable the business and the development team to make the right data-driven decisions.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead officer for GymNet (Sage CRM)
- Work with colleagues to develop and implement intelligence and reporting mechanisms
- Assist with building business cases and plans
Key objectives
- Lead officer responsibility for GymNet (Sage CRM) including developments, updating & maintaining information and reporting (including membership performance analysis, data insights and analysis.)
- Be the ownerand developer of intelligence databases and dashboards.
- Be the main point of contact for membership enquiries.
- Produce and present data insight and analysis for Senior Management Team (SMT)
- Supporting Head of Development and the Development Team in building business cases and intelligence documents.
- Produce business plans and ensure procedures are in place in relation to product lines.
- Responsible for ensuring that procedures are in place for administrating the club education programme including the processing of payments and issuing of invoices.
- Maintain efficient and effective administrative and logistics systems for the Development Department
- Process payments and invoicing in line with SG finance procedures
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Development
Communication
- Communicate and interface regularly with:-
- SG Head of Development
- SG Staff
- SG Member Clubs
- British Gymnastics (BG) Membership and participation staff
- sportscotland
- Key national and local partners
- Develop and maintain strong effective partnerships and relationships with SG member clubs, key agencies including BG, sportscotland, local authorities
- Represent SG at relevant Scottish, UK and regional forums / events
- Attend SG’s staff meetings and management meetings as appropriate
Monitoring & Evaluating
- Provide regular monitoring and evaluation reports to an agreed format for SMT, Board and any other relevant body
- Work with colleagues in SG and sportscotland to establish a robust system for capturing and reporting data in relation to membership

Experience /
- Experienced Sage CRM user
- High level Excel user
- Comfortable working across a range of IT packages (Microsoft, Sage CRM)
- Interpreting and presenting analytics reports
- Working in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable working through change
- Sage Accounting
Knowledge /
- Ability to write analytical reports
- Handling and managing high volume of data
- Of using the above IT Packages above
- Communicating with / working with sports clubs row member organisations
- Communicating with or working with volunteers
