SCOPE OF OUR TECHNOLOGIES FOR TAMILANDU

Power :

It is an obvious fact that, the current electricity demand level at Tamilnadu is around 12,000MW. Just apart from the 3000MW short fall in the generation capacity, around 2000 MW plus of wind power if failing up frequently. Failing hydro power resources, coal crisis issues for thermal power plants, ever increasing demands, short supplies from other states, high cost of bought out power, variable rates of base and peak load supplies, slow pace of development of the 13,000 MW ultra mega power plant projects etc are major factors hindering smooth power supply situation in Tamilnadu. In spite of the earnest efforts by government sources, the prevailing difficulties lead to worsening power supplies, frequent power cuts, disturbances to all end users putting forth a blaming opinion on the government. The fundamental issue being at the right choice of power generation strategies, type and operating power plants, it is rather a major technology failure to meet sustainability in tune with demand - supply criteria. Our innovative technology solutions and adaptability to existing power plants is a timely good will gesture to relieve the stress on government of Tamilnadu as regard to the power related issues and their salvation.

Handling the power crisis in Tamilnadu

A worthwhile technology option, our strategic suggestions & solutions.

Conversion of present hydro power stations (1400 MW – dam and barrage schemes) on a continuous basis using our technology ]

Conversion of present ( 4500 MW) thermal power plants to our zero fuel clean energy prime mover systems to get rid of fuel cost menace

There is scope to convert our 2000 MW plus and new additional wind mill installations from wind energy to our new technology prime movers (cluster generators)

The ongoing proposal of ultra mega power plants, at a projected investment of 70000 crores can be conveniently converted to the new class prime mover technology. The advantage being – The planned 13,000 MW ultra power plants expense projection of Rs.70,000 crores can be brought down by 50 to 70% which is enhanced by lowest land requirement, zero fuel, lowest capital and civil costs, plant simplicity ( involving sea water with drawal via forebay tank, fluid with drawal pipe systems, penstock pipes to the required head, the new technology component installation, high head turbine systems with controls, generator and post generator accessories) facilitated by our new class prime mover technologies.

Pumped storage power plants like Kadamparai (400MW) and other stations can be converted to continuous power generation power plants thereby enhancing base load and peak load services (144,00,000 units per day @600MW pumped storage power plant capacity) against that of the present negative net production output. Simplified high range hydro power installations can be established at lower Aliyar or other lower dams sites (Kunda, Manimutharu etc)

In case of water sources deficiencies , coastal marine hydro power plants using our new technology can be installed. These power plants form the basis of 24 hrs, 365 days all seasonal working, since the marine water source is inexhaustible and water is recycled back to sea without any alteration in physical, chemical and biological state.

  • Lowest power generation costs, uniform base & peak load power costs, abundance of supplies – benefits all stake holders like bidding farewell to power crisis, power cuts, power failures and short falls, thus ensuring consistent power supply benefiting all consumers like domestic, institutions, industry and agricultural sectors.

The scope for power export to other states via national grid system is also promising by way of added revenue generation scope to the state of Tamilnadu.

Shortest time span for power plant constructions is another favourable factor ( 3 to 6 months only)

High head turbines can be built from indigenous resources and other components can be built by our own resources.

  • Zero environmental impact since no dams / barrages or major geographical transformations or relocation of people is involved while using this technology.
  • Being 100% green, carbon credit facilities from World Bank / International Finance Corporation and green venture funds can be easily availed.
  • Shortest pay back periods of projects
  • Longest future use scope for centuries ahead
  • No thermal / CO2 and Green House Gasses (GHG) emissions and by-products are evolved.
  • Major cost savings on abatement of coal, gas and fuels.
  • The power subsidy losses can also be compensated by the drastic reduction / elimination of fuel costs and facilitation of lowest generation costs.
  • Limitless capacity addition feasibilities for future.

Water

  • Rain / Sea water, overflow water from dams etc can be diverted to uphead remote lands via pipe lines / open channels using our mega water transport technology
  • In the existing canals / rivers the ayakut coverage can be increased by the scope of water discharge to uphead distant locations.
  • The tail end rivers can also be diverted to other remote lands where water is scarce.
  • Rain water harvesting from sea, storage and supply can be enhanced by our new technologies.

Surface and underground water pollution can be prevented by installation of combined sewage and effluent treatment plants with mega hydro power generation installations, enhanced by our technologies. The treatment energy costs being met by the plant itself, desalination and treatment systems also can also be electrified. Surplus power generated can be sold to National grid as an additional revenue, apart from treatment tariffs from trade effluent discharges.Renders safe dischargesinto rivers and scope of recovered water for agricultural use. Such Hybrid effluent treatment plants will solve the current water pollution oriented conflicts and other related issues permanently, provide employment for engineering, science graduates and technicians on a long term basis.

The huge power consuming electrical pumping system in rural and urban water distribution systems (from water source to end user destination) can be drastically brought down by 85 to 95%, using our new class direct pumping system without the use of direct electricity. This saving in power can be diverted to other end use sectors to handle the power demands.

  • If Tamilnadu is to become a leading state among other Indian states, the primary criteria to over come is to solve its power, water and environment related issues. Our technologies facilitate such a dynamic development of Tamilandu because of the versatile applicability scope to vast services related to power generation, water and lead to sustainable development in reality.
