Please find below details of a change that is to take place which impacts SCI Store Web Services. This change will only come into effect following the implementation of the stated Build number or subsequent Build number.

If this change has an impact on your application interface to SCI Store please discuss this with your NHS Sponsor and if necessary raise a call with the SCI Store Team through the helpdesk at r directly on 0845 957 2700.

Change Summary:

The new Version 7.1 of SCI Store Web Services is available in this Release of SCI Store.

Change Detail:

Version 7.1 Web Services includes significant improvements to the Patient Notification Services offering, with more detail provided within the notification, minimising the additional web service calls required to get to the data that has changed.
The Patient Notification type has been extended to include the following additional fields: -
· CHI
· Record Type (DemographicsOnly, Results, Documents, ADT, TreatmentLog)
· Record Key (Internal ID of the record that caused the notification, e.g. PatientID for DemograhicsOnly, ResultID for Results etc)
· Transaction Type (patient match action – Insert, Update, Add Alias)
· Patient Process Events (xml snippet of key demographic changes)
Full details of the changes are shown in the Feature Summary document.
Additionally, the separate ‘Add’ and ‘Amend’ patient and result Subscription Web Methods have been replaced with more generic ‘AddSubscription’ and ‘AmendSubscription’ services – which can be used for both patient and result subscriptions. Additionally, the ‘GetMySubscriptions’ service has been replaced with a new ‘FindSubscriptions’ service.

Reason for change:

To coincide with the release of V7.1 of SCI Store, primarily due to the need for improvements to the detail provided within Patient Notifications.
