Welcome to the 56thLGT History Month Bulletin. This is an extraordinary edition to tell you about the latest news about LGBT History Month 2009

Purlease!

At time of writing there are over 100 events in London and 75 in Nottingham, none in Scotland and 3 in Wales, five in the West Midlands and a handful in Manchester. One Newcastle, 5 in Leeds and 5 in East Anglia. Thirteen in the South West. 198 events throughout the nation.

Yet we get twenty emails and more every day asking for hi-resolution logos to promote your LGBT History Month events, and we have been receiving emails at this volume for over a month. We know there must be at least 2,000 events celebrating LGBT History Month throughout the UK. Our calendar is an interactive national vehicle to publicise your event. But less than ten per cent of you are putting your event on the calendar! This is free promotion.

However big or small your event, take advantage of our calendar and put it on for free. If you don’t use it, drop us an email and tell us why so we can improve it. Help us to help you.
