Our focus area is: Discipline
Overall goal (What we want to accomplish by the end of the second year.) 100% of all students will have one or less office referrals as measured by the annual ODR data.
Target goal (What we want to accomplish this year.) 95% of all students will have one or less office referrals as measured by the annual ODR data.
Approaches/Strategies (What we will do to realize our goal.) Implement PBIS system schoolwide, continue individual and school-wide recognition, develop monthly character education trainings for students and staff, closely monitor the RTI process and Tier activity related to behavior
Measures we will use to monitor our progress toward reaching our goal:
Performance/Impact: ODR data
Fidelity of implementation: Track huskies given and recognition awarded for positive behavior, ensure monthly assemblies and staff meetings are taking place, monitor teacher lesson plans for incorporation of monthly character education topics
During the 90 day cycle time for cycle 1 and 2 we will revisit/monitor our plan every 4 weeks

1. In order to meet your Overall Goal, what is the most important area that needs improving and why? Based on the ODR data, it appears that student need character education training on topics such as respect, bullying, being kind, appropriate language, etc.
2. What approaches/strategies are contributing to your success in this area and what data suggests this? Children that currently attend small group meetings with counselor demonstrated a decrease in target behaviors.
3. What are opportunities for improvement, gap or barriers are in this area? Limited resources for targeted interventions, good character traits are not currently being incorporated into classroom instruction
4. What seems to be the root cause of the problem and what data suggests this? Students seem unaware of certain behaviors that serve as automatic office referrals (aggressive behavior 22%, disruptive behavior 29%, inappropriate language 28%, etc.)
