Section B: Our School
1. To help you understand our school business better, we will briefly describe our school (e.g. age of the students; location; environment).
Our school, M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth situated in Liluah , just in the outskirts of kolkata , is a home to 3100 odd students, ranging from 2.5 years of age to 18years of age. The school is hugely popular and is one of the most preferred choice for parents in the nearby locality .Our school aims at holistic development of the students and encourages them to participate in all kinds of academic and co-curricular activities. We have a huge library, chemistry, computer, biology, laboratories which are up to date with the latest technologies. We have a huge art and craft room, two playground and big spacious building .The school provides a perfect environment for learning.

2. Here is a brief description of the school business we ran before/are currently running, including the products/services we sold/are selling.
Our Business area is Home Decor Products. We develop various handicrafts ,table mats, table cloths, t-shirts from reused materials. We believe in reusing and recycling and this is the core idea behind our business.

3. Considering our school’s physical resources, skills and location, these are the resources available at our school we can use to develop our business:
The huge art and craft room, the sewing machine and other equipments, the SUPW periods, the computer lab ,the skills of our students are some of the things that we plan to bank on while developing our school business.

4. a) These are the five business ideas we thought of when brainstorming a new idea or a way of diversifying or growing the existing one:

· Low start up cost
· Eco- friendly and pollution free
· Our SUPW periods can be put to use
5. Our final Business Idea will be sustainable and have a positive impact on the environment and our community because:
· Its promotes a pollution free environment.
· Old clothes often end up in landfills . They take 100 years to decompose , so reusing them could be a perfect solution to some of the problems prevalent in our environment .
· The reasonable and affordable prices will be beneficial for the people in our locality.
Section F: Financing our growth and development
6. Here is a description of how we are planning to finance our business, including how we are going to raise the money needed for our school business.
· Organise food fests.
· Ask teachers and students to donate old clothes.
· Collect and sell old newspapers.
