Dogs

Vaccination
Vaccinations can be started at 6 weeks of age however 2nd vac cannot be until they are 10 weeks of age.
The gap between 1st and 2nd vac is 2-4 weeks.
The maximum lapse between boosters is 3 months
Kennel cough can be given from 3 weeks of age. Yearly boosters required
Rabies Can be given from 4 weeks of age however a 2nd vacc must be given at 12 weeks of age if started this early. Boosters dependant on country visited some require yearly boosters. But required every 3 years for a UK pet passport.
Neutering
Bitches under 12kgs can be done from 6 months of age. Bitches over 12kgs must have a 1st season then can be done 4 months after it has finished (this is to reduce the risk of urinary incontinence later in life)
Dogs can be done from 6 months of age.
Microchipping
Can be done from 2nd vacc if big enough, remember it is cheaper at the time of 2nd vac and neutering

What is E. Cuniculi
It is a parasite that can cause head tilt, paralysis, collapse and death. Transmission is mainly due to ingestion of spores in urine, so as well as using panacur, food and water should be placed appropriately to avoid urine contamination, grass etc should not be collected from fields and fed and all fruit and veg given should be thoroughly washed.
