Attend college only. (Early Admission) / Enrollment of an eligible high school student in a post-secondary course creditable toward high school diploma and college degree. School Board of Highlands County responsible for books and fees.
Requirements: 3.0 cumulative un-weighted G.P.A., student must meet test scores in both reading and writing in order to enroll in college credit dual enrollment. Students enrolling in mathematics and certain science courses must also meet the test score in math. Students who complete 12 hours must meet test scores in all three areas.
Allows students to enter college after completion of grade 10. 10th Graders must have an Exception Waiver to accompany the course approval form to be registered.

The accumulation of excess college hours and/or grades earned in Dual Enrollment courses may affect their future availability of financial aid and/or program eligibility after high school graduation.
