SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NEW RESIDENTS
Each year scholarships of at least $1,000 are available for new residents at Robert Menzies College. The scholarships take the form of fee rebates spread across the year.
The scholarship application process will include a written application and, in some cases, an interview (in person or by phone).
In the awarding of scholarships, we take into account a number of different factors:
1. Demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas:
a. Academic/sporting/artistic achievement
b. Community involvement
c. Leadership
d. Christian service
2. Potential to contribute to the life of Robert Menzies College
3. Financial need
Applications must include:
1. The RMC Scholarship Application Form (attached, or found at http://rmc.org.au/accommodation/ )
2. A letter of no more than two pages, addressing
a. Your academic results and strengths
b. Your achievements in the categories listed above
c. Your potential to contribute to the college
d. Your financial position
3. A brief CV
4. A copy of your HSC, ATAR (or equivalent), or latest academic record

Robert Menzies College also offers joint scholarships with Macquarie University. These are:
1. Macquarie University Robert Menzies College Accommodation Costs Scholarship, valued at $3000 for one year. If you are applying for this scholarship as well as for an RMC New Residents Scholarship, please indicate this on your application form. 2. Macquarie University Robert Menzies College Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship, for residents who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, valued at up to $8000 per year, and renewable for up to four years. Please note that this scholarship is not awarded every year. If you are applying for this scholarship as well as for an RMC New Residents Scholarship, please indicate this on your application form. 3. Macquarie University Robert Menzies College Elite Sports Scholarship, valued at $2500 for one year. To apply for this scholarship, you need to submit an application for an RMC New Residents Scholarship indicating that you wish to be considered for the Elite Sports Scholarship. You also need to be accepted into the Elite Sports Scholars program at Macquarie University. NOTE: Please ensure that you have included a Personal Reference in your Application for Admission to College. The form can be downloaded from our website. It is not necessary to send your Reference form as part of your scholarship application, but we will not offer scholarships without a reference.
