Background:This scholarship was established to honor teachers and coaches Tom Reynolds &

Lynn Griffith for diligently guiding robotics students; for demonstrating gracious

professionalism, integrity, and dedication; and for leading by example.

Purpose:This fund was established to provide financial support to a LSN graduating senior

who was an active member in good standing of The Broncobots, and who

is pursuing continued education in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.

Number of Recipients:One

Scholarship Amount:$500

Guidelines:a.Graduating senior from Lee’s Summit North High School.

  1. Broncobot team member in good standing.
  2. Plans to further their education at an accredited university, college or technical school pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) career.
  3. Financial need may be considered.
  4. The applicant must show evidence of being a well-rounded individual displaying exemplary character and exhibiting high academic achievement.
  5. The recipient shall in no way be limited by gender, race, religion, or any other designation that could exclude an individual.

Process:The Selection Committee will consist of at least one Broncobot coach, two mentors, a representative of the originating donor family, and a representative from the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation. The award will be announced at the Academic Awards Night.

Scholarship Payment:The Scholarship will be made by a LSEF check payable jointly to the recipient and his
