Scholars Academy Will Host a Career Day on Wednesday, April 5th

Yes! I would like to share my career with students at Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy.

Presenters are first come first serve and will have 30 minutes. In 4th through 8th grade students have an opportunity to learn about the different career clusters. We are looking for at least one speaker from each of the following career clusters. Examples have been listed to give an idea of each cluster. If you would like to present, please check the career cluster your career is most closely associated with.

·  Business and Sales Cluster (Accountant, Office Administration, Marketing, Sales Rep, etc.) ______

·  Personal Service Cluster (Firefighter, Police Officer, Chef, Flight Attendant, etc.) ______

·  Science and Technology Cluster (Engineer, Architect, Biologist, Medical, etc.) ______

·  Arts Cluster (Actor, Artist, Designer, Photographer, Writer, etc,)______

·  Technical Cluster (Carpenter, Construction Worker, Electrician, Pilot, Mechanic, etc.) ______

·  Education and Social Service Cluster (Teacher, Judge, Lawyer, Social Worker, etc.) ______

We welcome creativity! Bring in your favorite gadgets to share with the children, create an activity, or give a demonstration, all while giving students the facts about your career. Be ready to answer questions. Some key talking points may be…
