Author/Artist Application Form

BookFestPA is a celebration of the written word. This year’s focus is on the art of comics. The event will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 10 AM until 4 PM under a tent on the Schlow Library grounds. Authors/artists will have the opportunity to meet their fans and to sign and sell material. It is an opportunity to include writing and publication as one of the arts celebrated during the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.

Author/artist or a representative must be stationed at their table during the event. The application fee is $75 for one 6 foot-long table or $50 to share one 6 foot-long table with another author. Please make the check payable to Schlow Library.

Applications must be complete no later than April 15, 2016

*BookFestPA will provide you with a press release to distribute through your mailing list and website. Biographies may be edited for length.

BookFestPA Author/Artist Release

I have read and understand this application for my participation in BookFestPA. If I have misrepresented my work, the BookFestPA Committee may remove any objectionable items or terminate my participation without refund. If asked to leave BookFestPA, I will forfeit participation in future BookFestPA events. I agree to the use of my images by the BookFestPA Committee for promotional purposes. I release BookFestPA, Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, Schlow Centre Region Library, Penn State University, other affiliate organizations, its employees, and volunteers from responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of my work, and any claims and demands whatsoever arising from my participation in BookFestPA. If I cancel my participation, I may forfeit all or part of my application fee.

I understand decisions of the BookFestPA Committee are final.
