ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

With the proliferation of Internet technology, we can now browse the Internet not only from desktop computers, but also from small mobile devices such as tablet and smart phones. Therefore, many types of web browsers have been developed to accommodate this demand. Standardisation is very important in order to make the webpage accessible by different types of web browsers. World Wide Consortium (W3C) has developed XHTML to cater to this problem. Do some research and write a report that covers the following:

·  The roles of W3C,

·  The differences between XHTML and HTML,

·  Discussion on THREE (3) Web browser technologies for three different platforms,

·  Standardisation and portability of XHTML document, and

·  Usability issues of XHTML document.
