7.1If he/she is the University Staff, the letter of endorsementfrom the Dean of Facultyis to provide to follow up the final report.

7.2If he/she had been granted from PSU research grant or government budget (including NRU research project) and the research project had been finished for two years and longer, he/she should have published any of these publications including journal's reprint or conference's proceedings or application or registered patent before being able to obtain the new grant. (please fill in Form 17)

7.3In case of submission of the second proposal, the investigators should have finished the first one, and sent the final report and reprint or the register patent document already.

16.3Expenses for foreign researcher

1) One way transportation expense between PSU and collaborative institution for foreign researcher to work at PSU (not exceed 10 % of the total budget)

2) Living allowance 500 baht per day for foreign researchers during stay in PSU.

17.Supporting documents: must have (1) the letter of endorsement from both PSU and foreign institution allowing researchers to use time, facilities and research equipment during conducting research and (2) the supporting budget of Thai principle investigator’s Faculty. Letter should be authorized/ endorsed by

17.1for PSU: Head of Department and Dean of Faculty

17.2for foreign institution: Head of Department orDean of Faculty/College/School andauthority responsible for International Affairs.

18.Intellectual Property Rights:Intellectual rights stemming from the activities supported under this grant are the sole property of Prince of Songkla University. The group of researchers shall have the right to publish their work. Before any research can be registered for patent, it must first be discussed by the University and the respective research institutes to determine who will be the beneficiary of any remuneration resulting from the intellectual rights.
