Sanjay V Shah, the author / translator

  • Author of runaway hit Gujarati book DeevaDandi, featuring lives of 41 Jain dignitaries depicting their struggle, rise and lifetime faith in values, religion and philanthropy. More than 5,000 copies already sold, a record sort of thing for a Gujarati book released just few months back in January 2012.
  • Completed translation of Veer Savarkar’s mammoth historical books from Marathi to Gujarati. Comprising more than 1,500 pages. It will soon be made available on the Internet for world by the Veer Savarkar Pratishthan, Mumbai

Sanjay V Shah, the theatre / TV personality

  • Directed a Gujarati musical Krishnaparva starring Sudha Chandran and 60 artistes and dancers. Released in Mumbai on 10 July 2009.
  • Wrote daily soap Thodi Khushi Thodi Gham, from the episode one. Written more than 100 episodes in dialogues and 30 episodes screenplays.
  • Written dialogues and or screenplays for Gujarati serials viz. Aasha, Kori Aankhen Bheena Sapna and Shubh Labh.
  • Written Hindi play Mujhe Rang De starring Ayesha Julka, Divya Dutta and Ananth Mahadevan, Kuchh Tum Kaho Kuchh Hum Kahein, starring Smriti Irani and Apra Mehta and Dhoond Ke Us Paar starring Ami Trivedi and Homi Wadia.
  • Written Gujarati plays Lagangaadu Chaaley Aadu, Taarey Mann Hu Maarey Mann Tu, Rutu No Ritik, Sang Taney Chhey Rang, Father Maara Godfather (co-writer), Aapna J Ghar Maa No Entry, Toh Laagi Sharat, Raja Vaja Ne Varraja, Ekbijana Fifty Fifty, Dhummas Ni Pele Paar, Amey Mastina Matwala, Saat Teri Ekvis (one of the seven monologues of the play).
  • Written and produced Gujarati plays Sang Taney Chhey Rang,Raja Vaja Ne Varraja and Ekbijana Fifty Fifty and produced Aav Re Varsad under the banner SHREENATHJI ARTS.
  • Written more than 20 one act plays, directed around 10 one act plays including prize winning Sanskaar for Prabodh Joshi open one act competition, Main Prakriti Hoon for SH Agarwal High School, Kandivali (west), Mumbai (in state level one act play competition for schools in Maharashtra), Bhavishya for Swaminarayan Gurukul, Hyderabad.

  • Written a Gujarati song for Malaysia’s landmark album YADEIN consisting 13 songs in 13 languages. The song was composed by Arvinder Raina, brother of well-known Bollywood singer Tochi Raina.
  • Written community anthem song for Kutch Dasha Oswal community sung by Mohammad Salamat, singer of the title song of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam fame
