INDONESIA DISASTER APPEAL

The retiring collection on Sunday 14th October for the Indonesia Disaster Appeal amounted to£282 - 50p. A wonderful result.

Samara Aid Appeal....update

Just to let everyone know that the final amount raised from the afternoon tea with Ruby and Sarah was a brilliant £402!

We sentclothing, nappies and a wheelchair off to Kendal and they sent on down the country to the main warehouse. We gave £120 to help with all that transport and the remaining £282 was given directly to the Samara appeal. We have received a kind letter of thanks from this and I have put in the foyer if anyone would like to read.

Thanks again toRuby and Sarahand to everyone who contributed in anyway. It really is a

worthwhile cause.

Upper Eden Food Bank

Thanks to the amazing generosity of many kind people the food bank store is well stocked at the moment. We are really grateful for such generous support but ask that for the time being we have no more food donations. We will let you know when shortages begin to appear.

Thank you, The Food Bank team.
