SCHOLARSHIP PAGENT
CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Contestant must be a resident of or student in San Antonio, TX and surrounding area within 30 miles.
2. Contestants must be a young lady between the ages of 18- 24 yrs old or must have reached her 18th birthday by the end of March of the year entering the pageant or have received prior approval from the San Antonio Queen of Soul, Inc. Executive Board.
3. Contestants must be single, never been married, not pregnant, or ever been pregnant at the time of entry or during their reign.
4. Contestant must be in good physical health, and of good moral character.
5. Contestant must be in Good academic standing.
6. Contestant must have never been arrested, abused drugs or alcohol nor participated in any illegal activities.
7. Contestant must submit a sponsorship fee of $125.00 on the date of contestant interview and acceptance to the San Antonio Queen of Soul Scholarship Pageant
8. CONTESTANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:
January 13, 2016 - March 19, 2016 – Queen of Soul Contestant Rehearsals
March 11, 2016 - Queen of Soul Pageant Reception
March 19, 2016 – Queen of Soul Pageant
All contestant events/appearances when scheduled by QOS Inc.
Packets must include the following documents to be considered eligible for consideration.

(2) MOST CURRENT REPORT CARD/ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT
(3) PHOTOGRAPH
(4) BRIEF PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY
