Ione Florence Samuelian was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Ione and Morris Samuelian were married for 63 happy and love filled years.

Ione was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Stenen; and her brother, Byron Stenen.

The family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Somerford Place.

Ione is survived by Morris, her loving and caring husband. Also surviving are her children, son, Dale Samuelian and his wife Charlene; and daughter, Lynn Samuelian and her husband, Ruben Fernandez, all of Fresno.

Ione is survived by her grandchildren, Bryce Samuelian and his wife Sarah and great-grandchild Madison, Ryan Samuelian and his wife Megan, and Vince Mancini.

Ione is also survived by her brother, Norman Stenen and his wife Ruth of Brea, California.

A Graveside Service will be held at BelmontMemorial Park on Saturday, October 28, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the University California, San Francisco Alzheimers and Memory Center-Fresno, 3313 North Hilliard Ln., Fresno, CA93726-5854.

ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Agnes Mary Samuelian, 88, of 1071 Nalley Road died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at Ebenezer Senior Services. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. A native of East Providence, R.I., Mrs. Samuelian was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary Yell Fratus. She was the widow of John Samuelian. Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Maloney of Rock Hill and Jacquelin Inman of Chester; six grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Bass-Cauthen Funeral Homes are in charge.

Scallon of North Attleboro and Susan B. Ruggieri of North Scituate; 3 sons, Robert L Holmes of Arizona, William T. Holmes of West Warwick and Richard W. Fischer of Warwick; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

WHITINSVILLE — Sadie (Malkasian) Samuelian, 95, of Whitinsville died Fri., Oct. 31 at UMassMemorialHospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Avedis Samuelian predeceased her. Sadie is survived by all her nieces and nephews, who were like her children; Enoch “Babe” Malkasian and his wife Claire with whom she lived, Diane Asadoorian, Marigene Balogh and her husband Franz, Hank Haghigian and his wife Yerin, David Malkasian and his wife Ruth, Janet Malkasian, Bobbie Malkasian and his wife Tricia and Tricia’s sisters, Deborah and Geraldine; 10 great nieces and nephews and nine great-great nieces and nephews. Her nephew Phillip Malkasian predeceased her. Sadie was born in Whitinsville and lived most of her life in Watertown and Belmont. She was a hairdresser working until she was almost 90. She was a graduate of NorthbridgeHigh School, was an avid knitter, rug-hooker and would sew her own clothes. She was a member of the ArmenianApostolicChurch in Whitinsville and a former member of St. James Armenian Church and their Women’s Guild, and the AGBU. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and was an excellent cook.

Her funeral will take place Wed. Nov. 5 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a service at 11:00 in the ArmenianApostolicChurch on 315 Church St., Whitinsville. Burial will be at RidgelawnCemetery in Watertown. Calling hours at the funeral home in Whitinsville are Wed. WORCESTER - Charles Sharigian Sr., 86, died Friday, June 6, in the St.FrancisHome.

His wife of 51 years, Ann (Samuelian) Sharigian, died in 1999. He leaves a son, Charles Sharigian Jr. and his wife, Gayle, of West Boylston; a daughter, Susanne Magarian and her husband, Robert, of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Helen Nahabedian of Marco Island, Fla.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Simon and two sisters, Rose Khederian and Mary Najarian. He was born in Sutton, son of Haropsimi (Balomian) and Sahag Sharigian. He was a graduate of CommerceHigh School and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for U.S. Steel for 32 years.

He was an active and dedicated member of The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, its Parish Council, Men's Club, and the AVAKS. He was the church custodian for many years and was a member of Quinsigamond Lodge AF@AM and a member of the Armenian American Veterans. He was a true people person.

Funeral services were held Wednesday June 11, in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial was in HopeCemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour.

R. Floyd Tuttle 1930 ~ 2006 R. Floyd Tuttle, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on February 9, 2006. He was born April 1, 1930 in Springville, Utah to Francis Lamar Tuttle and Zola Otteson. Born on April Fool's Day, Floyd had a positive attitude and a fun loving sense of humor. He served an LDS Mission in the East Central States and upon his return, two weeks later, he married his high school sweetheart, Merilyn Johnson in the SaltLakeTemple. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Floyd loved the Lord, his family and serving others. Church service was the hallmark of Floyd's life. He served in many church callings, among them, Bishop of the Mapleton 2nd Ward, an early morning Seminary Teacher, Bishop of the Sandy Young Adult Branch, Stake Presidency Member, and Full Time Missionary with wife, Merilyn. His home was characterized by an open door, especially for his grandchildren who knew that in a pinch Grandpa would help them anytime day or night - sometimes in his P.J.'s. His concern throughout his life, and even during his battle with cancer, was for his sweetheart Merilyn, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will miss his fun loving personality, support, love, and his chocolate malts. He was preceded in death by his son, David Tuttle (Debbie). Survived by his wife, Merilyn Johnson Tuttle and children: Robert Tuttle (Barbara), Cheryl Burke (Jerry), Marla Macdonald (Bob), LuAnn Samuelian (Mike), and John Tuttle. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Tuttle, his sister, Theora Boulton, 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing held Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville, Utah. George H. Fischer, 80, of Birch Street, died Wednesday at RogerWilliamsMedicalCenter. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Samuelian) Fischer. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Carl and Frieda (Leschke) Fischer.
Mr. Fischer was employed in the maintenance department of Grinnel Corp. until his retirement in 1992. A United States Army Veteran, he served in Japan during WW II.
He was the beloved father of Richard W. Fischer of Warwick. Caring step father of Robert Holmes of Scituate, William Holmes of West Warwick, Linda Reed of Cranston, Susan Ruggeiri of North Scituate, and Marilyn Scallon of North Attleboro, MA. Loving brother of Louise Doucette of Cranston, Frieda Hervey of Warwick, and Gladys Larrivee of Johnston and the late Carl, Albert, Walter, Edward, Arthur, Herman, and Everett Fischer. Cherished grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of eight.
