Sample Email to iCVF Respondents

I am participating in Curtin’s Academic Leadership Program for Course Coordinators. As part of the leadership development program, each participant is encouraged to conduct a 360˚appraisal of their leadership. This involves collecting feedback from people I work with about my leadership and management. I would appreciate you providing some information on my performance in my role as Course Coordinatoras I believe you have a good understanding of my working performance and would be able to provide me with some feedback that I can use to assist me in my development.
The instrument that you need to complete is called the Integrated Competing Values Framework. It is a well validated and reliable management survey, which has been specifically developed for the Course Coordinator role.
The survey is fully automated and web-based. If you agree to take part, you will receive an email with instructions how to log on and complete the survey. It should take no longer than 20-25 minutes for you to complete. You must answer each question. Some questions have two parts. For example, some will ask you to rate my actual performance and then rate the importance of this performance in the overall role as Course Coordinator.
In order to ensure confidentiality and anonymity, I will not be privy to your ratings. All questionnaires will be collated automatically and individual results will be averaged by the agency that delivers and manages the survey tool. Hence, please provide honest and constructive ratings to assist me in identifying my strengths and weaknesses. If you are unsure of any question and what it means in relation to my role as a Course Coordinatorplease call me on 9266-9266 and I can help you clarify it with respect to my role.
It would also be extremely helpful if you provided some written or qualitative information about my strengths and development needs as this provides useful supplemental information to the numerical data.
