Some departments have expressed interest in having information about the types of ACF service hour activities that are counted toward the annual 100 hour requirement. We have compiled information from several different departments. This is being sent as advisory information. It is still up to each department to determine the ACF service activities that meet their particular needs.

The service hours shown by various activities are currently being credited in one or more departments in the SOM. Many Departments require approval by their ACF Committee prior to service involving research, publications, and other types of non-teaching activities. Departments can use multipliers, at their discretion, for mission critical activities.
