Board Members: Ms. Karen Wiley (Chairperson), Ms. Jinger LaGuardia (Vice Chairperson) Ms. Nicole Gallo (acting secretary recording minutes),Dr.Anne Erickson,Dr. Olga Efimova,Ms. Margaret Yee, andMr. Jorge Arce-Larretawere present, and no guest,

Chairperson Karen Wiley called the meeting to order and welcomed all in attendance.
REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
After reviewing the minutes, Ms. Wiley called for a motion to approve the Sister Cities Board of Directors Meeting minutes for June 11, 2015. Ms. Margaret Yee, moved to approve the minuteswith corrections,Mr. Jorge Arce-Larreta, seconded the motion; all voted "aye," the motion passed.

PRESENTATIONS TO BOARD
Ms. Wiley said, the draftlettersfor the Mayor to send out, were sent.
Ms. Margaret Yee, is sending two draft letters for the Mayor.
Ms. Wiley update toMr. Jorge ArceLarreta on gift to Salt Lake City
Update on new Sister City logo pin.
Update on brochure, to go to print.
Update on new business cards, corrections and logo without the black box.
Mayor sent theflag to Sister City International for opening parade.
The motion passedwith corrections, to order2 Banners for Sister City board.Dr.Anne Ericksonmoved to approve the bannerwith correctionsMr. Jorge Arce-Larreta,seconded the motion; all voted "aye," the motion passed.
We need to look into getting gifts for our guest/visitors.

UPDATE ON IZHEVSK, RUSSIA FROM Ms. OLGA EFIMOVA
Ms. Efimova, is working on aconcertsummer event in the park, working on big event 2016
Ms.Efimovais to send new contact info forUkraineMs. Rosemary A. Holt.
UPDATE ONKEELUNG, TAIWAN, FROMMARGARET YEE
Ms. Yee,will send out invitations for her upcoming events. She would like to have the Mayor set up a meeting with guests coming to Salt Lake City.
UPDATE ON TRUJILLO, PERU
Mr. Jorge ArceLarretawas just inTrujillo for theopeningof the new LDS temple with a group from Salt Lake City. It was an excellent trip. He met with the Mayor of Trujillo and talked about Sister Cities. Their Mayor was very excited about thepotential. Mr. Jorge ArceLarreta has an upcomingmeeting with the educational department in Peru when he returns to Peru in Sept. Jorge is working with Peruvian traditional dance group to teachPeruvian traditional dance in Utah, and gifts to be given Salt Lake City.
Mr. Jorge ArceLarreta asked if he can ask where the update on Trujillo Sister City confirmation is,Ms. Wiley said yes call.Mr. Jorge ArceLarreta said it is getting very embarrassing.
UPDATE ON TORINO, ITALY FROM NICOLE GALLO
Italian Fair Ferragosto; Aug 15. Ms. Gallo same as last meeting,
Ms. Gallo said she isstill unable toconfirm if we have Italian exchange students fromTorinoSister City relationship. The info is goingdirectly to someone in the Mayors’ office and not to our board.TorinoSister City relationshipsaid we need to get the info from the mayor, but it has not been sent to her.
