Honor Mother Cabrini Today - It feels like no coincidence that, as we commemorate the centennial of the death of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, patroness of immigrants, Pope Francis has launched Share the Journey, a global campaign inviting people around the world to love our immigrant and refugee neighbors. Learn more about brothers and sisters who have fled their homes and how you can support them in honor of Mother Cabrini

Chiara Center will host the Franciscan Nativity Festival on Friday, December 1 from 2-7 p.m.; and Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 from noon - 4 p.m. Free and open to the public, the Festival features more than 100 Nativity Sets, many of which are new entries to the annual Festival. From World Mission Sunday

You Brought Them Clean Water,
The Children Want to Say Thank You...

Father John Bosco and children in his village of Nkaliki in Nigeria recently sent this photo which they asked us to share with all of our MISSIO Community.

Until this past month, these children and their families had no access to clean water. Cholera and meningitis rates were high. Your support of Father John's MISSIO project helped dig a borehole, buy a water tank and finish the construction to bring clean water to the school and an entire community.

Thanks to you, the lives of 5,000 people just got a whole lot better!

"Thank you dear people... may you be blessed with peace!" wrote Father John in the note with the photo.

Sacred Heart

Sunday Masses will continue to be held in the church during the renovations (which we anticipate will last around 10weeks total).

Also included in the event is a “Soup and Chili Supper from 4-9 p.m.” on Friday, December 1.
