Receiving Instructions CSOPA’s Faces of Winter2010 Juried Exhibition

ACCEPTED WORKS ONLY

Receiving is Monday, February 1, from 1PM to 6PM at the UCONN Stamford Gallery, 1 University Place at the corner of Bedford St. and Washinton Ave.All art must arrive during this designated time. All art must be unpacked, and wired for hanging; provide stands for sculpture. Shipping material must be removed by shipper. Please note that representatives from CSOPA will only be available to receive and remove art at these designated times. Art must be removed Friday, March 5, 1PM to 5PM or Saturday March 6 between 10AM and 12PM. Shipper must repack artwork. Artists are welcome to use any shipper that can adhere to the above restrictions. Please notify CSOPA at if you plan to do so.

SHIPMENTS: Need a local shipper? CSOPA hasmade discounted arrangements with a Westport UPS for 5 to 10 accepted artists or faculty works. During the time frame of January 8, 2010 and January 28, 2010, Mr. Krilivsky will accept FW10 shipments at his UPS Store inWestport, CT. The art will be kept there until February 1, the date of receiving and then will be transported to the UCONN Campus Gallery in Stamford, CT. Accepted artists and faculty should ship works to arrive no later then January 28th at the Westport address below.Mr. Krilivsky is prepared to receive ONLY 5 to 10 paintings at the above location. You MUST inform CSOPA by email at to reserve UPS delivery as there is limited space. Please also inform us if you will be using this shipper to pick up your portrait at the end of the exhibit so we will know who to release the painting to. On February 1, 2010, Mr. Krilivsky will then transport these paintings to the exhibition location in Stamford, CT. After the exhibition, on March 6, 2010, Mr. Krilivsky will pick up the paintings and bring them back to his store, whereupon he will repack and ship each back to the respective artists at the artists’ individual expense. The cost of packing and shipping will be determined by the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items and will be charged directly to each artist’s credit card.
