The fiscal year financial report was reviewed and approved.

Old Business:

·  Loren and Ben have looked at SW stairway. Wilma says there is still moisture. The council discussed the idea of adding another downspout in that area to help with the problem. Loren said he can easily do this and he will look into it. There is also moisture on the east side around the windows; Loren will look at this as well.

·  John Kaiser Company completed their painting of the church. The total cost was $13,027.00 and has been paid. The council discussed cleaning the organ. Wilma will talk to Kathy Meyer to see if she thinks this is necessary.

·  The brick pedestals on the walkway to the cemetery have been removed by Loren.

New Business:

·  The Chicken Dinner net profit was $2,169.66. The council and parish life were happy with the turn out of the dinner.

·  Vic’s Plumbing and Heating has had to come out and help Wilma with the thermostat. Wilma was told the thermostat unit the church has lasts about 10 years, which it has reached. Now, Wilma is having troubles programming it. This may need to be added to the budget next year.

·  The Heritage Dinner is Sunday, October 23rd. Donations for food and/or money are needed for the event.

·  The council agreed to a 6% pay increase for Wilma since her last increase has been in 2013.

·  The council agreed to do lawn spraying again this fall.

·  The driveway to the west of the church by the handicapped area gets washed out when it rains. The council discussed some option to fix the issue with the possibility of pouring concrete. The council members will take a look at it and discuss it at the next meeting.

·  There are still 5 more trees that need to be taken down. Loren will cut the stumps down more by the cemetery walkway. Ben will look into renting a stump grinder to remove the remaining stumps.

Adjourned at 7:43pm.
