Debbie Engels hosted the January meeting of the Henry United Methodist Women. Betty Keyes and Connie Bevers presented the lesson on a child’s version of peace. The February meeting will be at the home of Judy Kos.

Lindy and Lesa Swedeen and boys, Arlen Swedeen, Boyd and Coral Joens and Aaron Pratt all from Henry had supper in Watertown Friday evening to celebrate Pete Swedeen’s birthday.

Donna Kittelson treated Jill Flood of Hazel to lunch on Wednesday at noon.

Several friends and neighbors gathered at the Doug Schoepp home on Sunday night for a house warming. Doug recently moved into his new home.

Brian and Kathy DeJong, Kayla, Conner and Adam of Watertown were Friday evening visitors at the Terry Kos home.

Betty Keyes and Bonita Sharp visited Alice Shirk at Wookey Assistant Living in Clark last Monday.

Bruce and Stephanie Nelson and Kaitlyn spent Sunday afternoon at the Don and Norma Nelson home helping Don celebrate his birthday.

A baby boy, Landon Charles was born to Brent and Margo Wherry on January 6, 2003 at Marshall, Minnesota. Grandparents are Marlin and Nancy Maynard and great grandparents are Raymond and Cleo Biberdorf and Mitzi Maynard.

Myrna Brenden visited Mavis Brenden on Friday afternoon in Watertown.

Vickie and Kayla Burchatz attended Jordan Burchatz’ basketball game in Brandon Valley on Saturday.

Jack and Marilyn Henning of Watertown were Saturday evening visitors at the Terry Kos home.

Ken and Sally Luvaas of Clark have purchased the Roger Schumacher home in Henry and will be making their new home here shortly.

Betty Keyes was a last Monday caller at the Hans Rorvik home.

Chuck and Debbie Engels spent the weekend in Mitchell with Troy and SaLena Engels.

Mike and Lola Nelson joined Glen and Carol Cornell of Clark for supper on Thursday evening in Henry.

Barb Hartley was a Saturday evening caller at the Bob and Bonnie Boehnke home in Watertown.

Elaine Nelson of Watertown was a Sunday dinner guest of Betty Keyes.

Doris Coyle called on Sandy Hoftiezer in Watertown on Sunday afternoon.

Danny and Bonita Sharp and Nicky were Monday luncheon guests at the Betty Keyes home.

Calvin and Lois Schoepp and Jack and Marilyn Henning enjoyed supper out in Henry on Saturday evening.

Several relatives gathered at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home on Sunday for dinner and supper to celebrate Jordan Burchatz’ birthday. Those in attendance were Rick and Vickie Burchatz and Kayla along with Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Pickrel, Dillion and Shelly Root, all of Watertown, Brian and Cindy Wientjes of Clark, Cheryl Hovde of Vienna and Ron and Sharon Burchatz of Henry.

Harold and Jeanette Hansen were Sunday evening visitors at the Harry and Clarice Severson home near Clark.

Monty, Marcia, Andrew and Sarah Montgomery had supper out in Henry on Saturday evening with Helen Van Sickle and Linda Page of Watertown.

Roxie Geiger spent the weekend in Sioux Falls with her father, Louis Gortmaker who is a patient at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.

The basketball team that Andrew Montgomery is a part of recently took second place in their divisionat a tournament held in Watertown.

Sara and Samantha Thyen spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of their grandparents, Albert and Gail Kittelson while their family spent time in Sioux Falls.

Don and Ruth Roe of Hazel were Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the Albert Kittelson home.
