IT’S TIMEFOR FALL/WINTER UNIFORM CHANGEOVER
Beginning Tuesday, October 10, 2017, all students are expected to be in their complete Saint Francis Xavier Academy FALL/WINTER uniform. The uniform list appears at the end of this edition of the Gray Notes.
8th GRADE SPONSORED “BREAKFAST ON THE GO”
The 8th grade class is sponsoring a “Breakfast on the Go” event on tomorrow,
Friday, October 6thbeginning at 6:30 am until 8:00 am. Proceeds from this event will help to defray some of the costs associated with 8th grade graduation activities. Please support the 8th grade class in their endeavor!
CHURCH/SCHOOL/COMMUNITY FALL FEST
Saint Francis Xavier is hosting a Community Fall Fest on this Saturday, October 7thon the grounds of Saint Francis Xavier Church from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Father Vincent DeRosa approved this event and the Planning Committee is strategizing to make this a fun-filled community affair for all age groups. Participation/Donation forms were sent home with students last week.

SCHOOL-WIDE CLAIRE’S GOURMET FUNDRAISER
Our school-wide Claire’s Gourmet Fundraiser is well underway. Completed order forms and money (CASH OR MONEY ORDERS ONLY) are due no later than Monday, October 16, 2017. Additional packets and order forms may be obtained from the school’s Administrative Office.

Girls may wear their hair braided, but natural in color, moderate length, clean and neatly kept. Nails must be natural in color, short to moderate in length and may be polished with clear polish only. Girls may wear small stud-style earrings and wristwatches. No other jewelry is to be worn with the St. Francis Xavier Academy uniform at any time. Additionally, no make-up is permitted to be worn.
Boys may wear cornrows, short afros, or other simple, clean, close to moderate length hairstyles. Boys may wear wristwatches, but may not wear any other jewelry. In addition, young men in grades 5th – 8th are expected to wear ties with the winter uniform. All students are expected to wear belts with shorts/pants and have their shirts tucked in neatly at all times.
