Budget
  • We have established a committee to create a SCMS SBDM budget for 2014-15 school year.
The members of that committee are: Deborah Thompson, Ginny Lanham, custodian and anyone else who wishes to join. We have been collecting needs assessment data and putting additional data together for this committee, their organizational meeting will be Wed. Feb. 19, 2014
  • Title I Budget: $1,731.51 and a parent involvement portion = $952.00
Consideration is being given to spending the 1731.51 on a smartboard projector or computers, this will be determined by the newly formed committees.
Personnel
  • Our latest hire, custodian, will begin his position on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014.

  • Tornado drill on Wed. Jan. 29, 2014

  • These drill fulfill the requirement of practicing these within the first 30 days school is in session and the month of Jan.

Principal’s Report:
In spite of the days that we’ve missed due to weather, I have completed 3 formal certified evaluations and have had my mid-year evaluation with Mrs. Schlosser.
Academic Team standings: One student placed in the regional competition.
