Over a decade of practical experience in the areas of international trade, accounting and finance, internal and external financial & management audits, taxation and management consultancy. Specialized in WTO Laws which includes Agreement on Antidumping, Agreement on Subsidies & Countervailing Measures, Agreement on Safeguards, General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and TRIPS.

Acquired extensive experience of dealing with antidumping law and procedures in Pakistan and abroad. Involved in more than 80% of the antidumping cases initiated by the Pakistani Antidumping Authority (i.e. National Tariff Commission, Ministry of Commerce – Pakistan) till date. Provided antidumping consultancy services to the domestic industry in Pakistan, working for them as a petitioner (prepared their antidumping application/case and represented them throughout the investigation till the imposition of final antidumping duties). Representeda large number of foreign producers / exporters in various countries for protection of their commercial interests in Pakistan; working as their attorney/consultant in Pakistan and defended them till final determination, in compliance with the provisions of WTO Agreement on Antidumping, Antidumping Duties Ordinance 2000 and Antidumping Duties Rules 2001.

While working with the international trade lawyers/consultants in various countries (including Belgium, China, South Korea, Thailand etc.) in different antidumping and other assignments;gained a good knowledge and understanding of antidumping regulations of different countries and the practices being followed by their antidumping authorities.

At present I amserving as Managing Partner of S.U.Khan Associates, Management Consultants and Chief Executive of S.U.Khan & Co. Cost & Management Accountants. The continuous success in the field of antidumping consultancy has made S.U.Khan Associates, Management Consultants a pioneer WTO related consulting firm in Pakistan. S.U.Khan Associates has successfully worked for foreign producers/exporters as well, in addition to providing antidumping consultancy services to many domestic producers in Pakistan. The firm is also providing advisory services to its clients regarding GATS and TRIPS agreement of the WTO.

I have been presenting papers on the subject of Trade Remedy Laws of WTO, TRIPS Agreement of WTO and Sustainability Reporting etc. before various Chambers of Commerce, Professional Institutions, Government Authorities and prestigious Local and International Clients. Did a great deal of research on Trade Remedy Laws and have written few articles relating to these issues as well. During professional career, visited Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Qatar, Dubai and India for providing antidumping consultancy services to various clients and for attending International events and having meetings with international partners with whom assignments are being carried out in international trade matters, sustainability reporting and carbon credits services.

I have taken initiative to promote the Concept of Sustainability Reporting (CSR reporting) for the benefit of business community in Pakistan, for the achievement of their long-term business goals/objectives. In addition to this the firm is also advising business community in Pakistan to earn carbon credits from their potential projects.

I havevast experience of Management Consultancy,have undertaken various assignments relating to different areas of consulting, ranging from review, evaluation, designing and documentation of policies, procedures, accounting and internal control systems, systems re-engineering, advisory, financial modelling, corporate and taxation advisory services.
