Peer Review – Jaye Stepp, TSBVI
Discussion from last month’s meeting continued on the Peer Review Committee responsibilities for the Peer Review Manual. Several suggestions were made, including moving from Peer Review to Validation of the Self Assessment. It was decided to address QC concerns by:
- Stressing that QC is the responsibility of the Peer Review Team and the agency. Responsibilities to be added to the Engagement Letter and/or the Report.
- Adding information in the manual to the effect that all Peer Reviews are subject to future QC and workpapers must be retained.
- Publish point balances and agency’s anticipated review periods, as well as a list of trained, qualified individuals on the SAIAF webpage to facilitate the search for a review team.
