INSTRUCTIONS
All sections of this e-workbook must be completed and the appropriate evidence provided to achieve the EduBit micro-credential for ‘Electric Vehicles: Introductory Health and Safety’.

If your rework is not submitted within ten (10) working days, you will receive a ‘Not Yet Achieved’ result. If your e-workbook has major gaps, you will receive a ‘Not Yet Achieved’ result. There will be no opportunity to resubmit further assessment evidence. You will need to submita new assessment and pay again.

5.1 Both alternating electric currents (AC) and direct electric currents (DC) have a range of different voltages. All electric vehicles have DC high voltage components that are extremely hazardous. For a service technician, awareness of the actual voltage of specific vehicle types is essential to ensure the health and safety of themselves and others.
Choose one of the nominal voltages listed below for each vehicle type. You may use each voltage more than once. There are some voltages that you may not use at all.
