patient action plan 2014/15

After listening to patient feedback, it was decided that the Practice would take forward three actions in the Action Plan for 2014/15. These were,

CQC report

Pauline informed the group that, following new guidelines, information had been extracted by Intelligent Monitoring Report in November 2014. Following this extraction the Practice had been graded at Band 4 (elevated risk). Information had been extracted from the patient MORI survey and it had transpired that Practices who had scored well on the GP survey were penalised by the Intelligent Monitoring because they got the answer the wrong way round. Pauline had reported this and was awaiting a response.

Primary Care Access Project

Susan Lockett asked for the Primary Care Access Project to be added to the agenda for the next meeting as she had some feedback for the group.

Local Housing Developments

Joyce Holgate gave a brief update on the progress of housing developments in the local area.

Cancer Information Point

Joyce Holgate asked for an update on the location of the Cancer Information Point. Kirsty thought that this was likely to be in Clitheroe Council Offices due to the amount of space required. Kirsty agreed to confirm the planned location.

The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday 14 April 2015 at 6.30pm.
