The SensAlert Model ASI is a gas detector which is available in two main versions, 2-wire and a 3-wire version. Each version can be subdivided into intrinsically safe versions with entity parameters and non- intrinsically safe versions. For all versions, the connections to the sensor head are intrinsically safe. As the connections to the sensor heads are intrinsically safe, this allows the sensor head to be installed either integral to the main enclosure or remotely with a cable up to 300ft. long.
