Hertha D. Dickson , 90, of TOMS RIVER, died Monday,

January 17, at her home. Born in Carlstadt, NJ, she lived in

Rutherford before moving to Silver Ridge Park West, Berkeley

Township. She attended Columbia University and was

employed as a regional supervisor for Liberty Mutual in Saddle

Brook for 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of

Pinelands Reformed Church, Tomes River, the Lakewood

Piners Toastmasters Club, former secretary of the Silver

Ridge Park West AARP Chapter, and a member of the Silver

Ridge Park West Womens Club.

Surviving are her husband, Grafton H. Dickson; a son

Stephen Adler of Mount Laurel; a stepson, Robert Dickson

of South Hadley, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Nancy Jean Hood of

New Milford, Conn.; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren;

and scores of Toastmaster friends.

Hertha was entombed at the Ocean County Memorial Park,

Toms River.
