President & CEO - Care Plans for Life, LLC – 2004 – Present - Firm specializes in providing life care plans that project present and future injury-related needs and resources for an individual(s), who has experienced serious burn and/or catastrophic trauma injuries resulting in physiological, psychosocial, cognitive, behavioral, and/or emotional injury and disability. The life care plan is a dynamic document developed through comprehensive assessment, expert recommendations, data analysis, and thorough research. The purpose of the LCP is to ensure that the individual receives consistent, comprehensive, reasonable care, in order that the client may function at a reasonable level, and avoid complications with a satisfactory quality of life. The LCP is prepared utilizing the averaged market cost of medical services, therapies, equipment, treatments, surgeries, supplies, home care and medication, as well as educational and/or vocational training. The life care plan tables exhibit the likely monthly and annual injury-related costs which are projected over the client's lifetime. Experienced in deposition and trial testimony for both plaintiff and defense litigation; the firm also provides case management services for severely-injured pediatric burn patients.
