PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

RURAL PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CENTER FOR REHABILITATION is a Non – Profit Organization. In INDIA, AndhraPradeshState, Chittoor District our Organization was servicing the poor physically handicapped people. Our Organization is established on 13 – 10 – 1998, reg. no. 506/1998. And our Organization has Income Tax Exemption 80[G], 12[A] and FCRA.

There are number of undeveloped rural and remote areas in Chittoor District. In some villages, there are no proper road ways. People were living depending upon the cultivation. In this society, the good person cannot live happily because of un – employment. Cultivation is depended on rains. In Chittoor District there is no rivers or any projects. If there is no rains then there is no crop. Most of the people will not have the labour in cultivation is very soon.

In addition to this the poor physically handicapped people situation is very horrible. In every rural and remote areas of chittoor district, there is 6 – 8 members of disabilities are there. Disabilities due to accidents, mentally retarded, blind, deaf and dumb people will be in every village. In these people some of the deaf and dumb people is living. Rest of them are not able to work because of their disabilities. Most of the people were suffering from lack of food, clothes, shelters. Some of them were begging in Bus stands, Rail way stations, etc., In their child hood they cant able to go to school because of their disabilities. If we enquired about their situation in village areas, it is very horrible.

If we enquired the parents of those disabilities, they were replying that the god must help them. Even their parents were not able to help them. Government, Public, Banks were not helping them. Government is sanctioning the pension of 500 rupees to disabilities. This is also not distributing to all of them. That amount is not enough to their daily needs. They don’t know what to do. In every village, the poor disabilities were simply sitting on the road sides.

In addition to these the women disabilities situation is very horrible. Even though the women disabilities were married but they were left on the roads when they became pregnant. The poor disabled women cannot able to feed their children. Most of the people were cheating those disabled women. Because of their financial backward they cant feed their children.

The poor physically handicapped people were remaining alone. There is no one to help them. They cant live on their own but its their wish to live on their own. RURAL PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CENTER FOR REHABILITATION has enquired 500 members of handicapped people in rural and remote areas and came to know that they were waiting for help to live on their own by establishing small shops, cows, buffalos etc., with your help we will live life long happily. It is true about that disabled request.

We discussed about this with our Organization’s advisors, friends and came to a decision that every poor physically handicapped people should be the beneficiaries of our Organization.

IMPLEMENTATION

We are surveyed every village with the help of community coordinator. And conducted meetings in villages in front of the village people and village heads; and identified the eligible handicapped people and our organization will help them to live their life on their own as their wish. According to their wish our Organization is planned to establish small shops, cows, buffalos, tailoring shops etc., and we contact the Bank manager near to that area and deposit 108 USDon their name individually. After depositing amount we will convince the Bank manager to issue 217USD, we will request DRDA and BC Corporation with the Bank Sanctioned letter. And we request them to issue 217 USD subsidy and from SC & ST Corporation 108 USD will be sanctioned.

By this 652USD amount they can live on their own as their wish. The amount sanctioned from the bank should be returned in easy installments. The remaining amount should not be returned.

By this method 600 members of poor physically handicapped people will live on their own.
