Functional Area: Grants Management / Run Master Data Index Grant Sponsors Report
Purpose
  • Use this procedure to find and review data for a Sponsor.
Trigger
  • Create an index to retrieve and display master data records for a selected Sponsor or Sponsors.
Trigger
  • Perform this procedure when you need to review data on a Sponsor or Sponsors.
Prerequisites
 The Sponsor or Sponsors must be in the system.
Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

Helpful Hints
Sponsor in this report is the same as Business Partner in the role of Sponsor.

Procedure
1. / Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.
Complete any or all of the following fields to specify which Sponsored Programs will be displayed. If no fields are filled in the display will include all Sponsored Programs.
Master Data Index for Grant Sponsors

2. / As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field / R/O/C / Description
Sponsor / Optional / Sponsor of the grant; The sponsor is a role within Business Partner.
Example:
Customer / Optional / SAP code that identifies a customer; A customer is a business partner who orders goods and services.
Example:
Created on / Optional / Date the object was created
Example:
Modified on / Optional / Date the last change was made
Example:
Responsibility Type / Optional / User defined responsibility within the sponsored program
Example:
HR Planning Object Type / Optional / Classifies the agent responsible for Grants Management
Example:
Object ID / Optional / Text used to classify the person responsible for Grants Management
Example:
Grant / Optional / At UC the term Grant includes Grants, Contracts, Cooperative Agreements and Sub-Awards.
Example:
Layout / Optional / The layout determines the list format including column structure, sort criteria, filter conditions, etc.

4. / Click to display that Sponsor.

5. / Review the displayed information.
6. / Click to return to the Master Data Index.

9. / Click to return to the Master Data Index.

10. / Highlight the Grant Sponsor line by clicking on the beginning of the line and then clickto display the “Where used” list.

11. / Click to display the GM Object List for the Sponsored Class.
/ The GM Derivation Tool option is not available here because the Sponsor is not used for derivation rules and assignments.

13. / You can now drill down on the underlined fields to view details of that field. For example, to display the Master Data Index for Grant click .
