7:00am Departure each day from PHS

CONDUCT FOR STANDARD BEARERS

  • Always walk along with your walking scorer.
  • Any questions you may have should be directed to your walking scorer.
  • Locate yourself even with the players and as far out of play as possible. Please be sure to check with your walking scorer as to where you should stand.
  • Please record all score changes after your group has teed off on the next hole.
  • Please do no speak while shots are being played. Try to remain still and keep standard still.
  • While you are waiting for the shots to be played please place the standard on the ground and hold the top with of the standard on each side- this helps avoid a rustling noise that distracts the players.
  • If you need something to drink please take help yourself on the tee boxes. Politely let the players and caddies get their drinks first.
  • Ride in a cart only when you are invited.
  • A maximum of two people may ride in a two seater golf cart, 4 may ride in a four seater.
  • If you run out of certain numbers please tell your walking scorer as soon as you notice and they can radio for replacements.
  • Please keep yourself hydrated and apply sunscreen when needed.
  • Carry the standard sign facing the gallery (fans) while walking up the fairway. The sign should be parallel to the fans not facing forward.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes. No flip-flops.
  • No accessories that will make noises (necklaces, wallets chains)
  • Cell phones MUST be on silent and you can not talk or text during the round.

1. Khaki pants or shorts (no short shorts)

2. Comfortable shoes (no flip flop or sandal they will thank me for this after 18 holes)

3. All cell phone must be on silent and they are not to have them out on the course

4. They are to stay with and listen to their Walking scorer at all times at the end they are to stay until the score is finalized

5. Stay hydrated there is water and power aid on all the holes

6. No talking to the players and no asking for autograph (most golfer will give them a signed ball at the end)

7. If they have any issue let their walking scorer know and they will contact me

8. Never walk across the green (putting area)

They will be carrying a 2 sided sign of the player score there walking scorer will give them the score after each hole I will show the how to change the scores each morning
