TITLE:MARKETINGCOORDINATOR

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible to the Executive Manager,Marketing and Fundraising for the delivery of high quality marketing support, the production of marketing collateral for a portfolio of RSB programs and services and the management of the RSB Website and Social Media platforms.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To support the marketing needs of a portfolio of RSB products and services.
  • Management of the production of collateral for each program to agreed time schedules and budgets.
  • Maintenance and regular updating of the RSB Website.
  • Managing the promotion of RSB Programs and activities through advertising, website and social media
  • To represent the RSB in a manner that positively promotes the RSB in the business sector and general community.
  • To ensure the RSB’s corporate image is maintained and accurately represented.

Duties

  • Work with the Executive Manager Marketing and Fundraising to develop approved marketing plans for a portfolio of RSB programs and Services.
  • Review existing marketing collateral and review briefs for new materials to ensure these materials support the marketing plan and are produced within budget and to RSB brand standards.
  • Review daily activity on RSB Social Media platforms and actively work with RSB business units to ensure a regular level of content generation.
  • Develop and produce printed material as required, including,newsletters, brochures, posters, flyers information papers and assistance with the RSB annual report where required.
  • Assist with the development of Advertising materials including print, radio and video
  • Maintain an up to date RSB website including working with program managers and service coordinators to ensure regular fresh news stories and program updates.
  • Attend events and functions as a representative of the RSB Marketing and Communications Department as required, including after-hours events.
  • Ensure adherence to RSB’s Human Resource and Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices relevant to the area of operation, including safe operating procedures.
  • Professional conduct expected in accordance with RSB policies and procedures that relate to the undertaking of the role’s duties and responsibilities, including the Email, Client Service and local area policies.
  • Other duties as required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Agreed marketing plans are executed to schedule.
  • Marketing production is managed within budget for each produced item.
  • Steady growth achieved in Social Media engagement
  • Feedback from program managers regarding the Marketing outcomes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications related degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent the RSB in a positive manner to a variety of people and organisations.
  • Proven experience in the preparation marketing collateral.
  • Good organisation and project management skills, including ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and a sound working knowledge of desktop publishing applications.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with website CMS
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.
