RAS Remit Form 2016 – Nine - Heights & Weights

This remit needs to be considered in tandem with RAS Remit Form 2016 – Ten – National Horse & Pony Remit – Weights Saddle Hunters & Working Hunters and RAS Remit 2016 – Eleven – Egmont – Weights Saddle Hunters

You need to vote for one remit, and vote against the other two remits, otherwise your votes will cancel each other out.

To clarify the existing ruling regarding the use of weights within height
divisions and give an example

CDE 5. HACKS, SADDLE HUNTERS, RIDING HORSE, COBS etc. – Height Division
a) All equestrian classes shall be offered in height divisions - (but shows/events may within each height division offer additional classes by further splitting the standard schedule heights, or by using weight)
  1. Park Hacks - over 148cm and not exceeding 158cm
  2. Hacks - over 158cm
  3. Riding Horses - over 148cm
  4. Saddle Hunters - over 148cm
  5. Cobs - Not exceeding 155cm
  6. Working Hunters - over 148cm
  7. Hunter Jumping - Horses over 148cm
