Dear Club,
How about this weather? On March 1st it was 80 degrees and I was in shorts and sandals at a Little League carnival. Then on March 3rd I was in full winter gear with the wind chill at 21 degrees. Mercy! Thankfully in this day in age our homes make it easyto shield us from these types of weather changes. I can’t imagine how our forefathers dealt with the cold of winter and the heat of the Baytown summer. I’m sure our weather will become more predictable soon. One thing that is always predictable as the weather warms up is that our area becomes overrun with unwanted guests. No, not distant relatives visiting for Easter. I’m talking about Anopheles quadrimaculatus, or better known as the Mosquito. Just the thought of the hot summer days full of mosquitos makes these cold days a little easier to deal with.
