Melbourne Gang Show, BBQ Cub Sleepover!

“It’s History in the Making”

This Saturday, June 23, is our visit to Gang Show, our BBQ dinner and Cub Sleepover. This notice is being sent to those who are attending at least one of the 3 activities.

Gang Show

Full Uniform to be worn.

For those going to Gang Show, you need to be at the Theatre:

Besen Centre (on campus of Mount Scopus College – see )

87-89 Station St, Burwood

Melway 61 C5 - suggest using Elgar Rd, rather than going past Box Hill Central.

…by 1:30pm, ready for the 2pm show

…. NOTE that latecomers will not be allowed into the Theatre until intermission (half-time).

Please enter the front glass doors, turn Left and meet at the base of the Left Hand side staircase, where tickets will be distributed by Akela. If you do arrive late, please go to the Box Office and ask for an envelope with your name, containing your tickets. Remember you will likely miss half the show if you miss the start…

For Cubs attending without parents, if you want to arrange a ride, please contact one of the parents attending (Kemp, Roberts, Crowhurst, Pothuhera, McDowell, York, Ahmed, Jerkic). If you are still having problems, please contact me on 9434 7594 ASAP.

The show goes for approx 2-2.5 hours. Afterwards we will return to the Hall.

Dinner

Following Gang Show, we’ll be having Dinner at the Hall. Those not going to Gang Show, should arrive at the Hall at approx 5pm. Along with food, we’ll be providing ‘plain’ drinks (such as cordial). Parents please bring your own drinks if you want something different.

PLEASE REMEMBER that the cost is $5 per head. Please ensure you pay me on the day if you have not already done so. If any BBQ Attendees have special dietary requirements, please notify me ASAP.

Sleepover

Cubs staying for the Sleepover should bring:

-Health Form (see other attachment)

-Air Mattress & Pump or stretcher

-Sleeping bag, blanket and pillow

-Sleeping gear (PJs, slippers etc.)

-Torch (check batteries)

-Toiletries/Towel as needed for overnight

-Clothes for evening (bring coathanger for uniform) and for Sunday.

Supper and a light breakfast will be supplied to the Cubs.PICKUP – 8:30-9am Sunday!
