Romeo & Juliet Text Message Conversation (15 points)

Re-write Romeo and Juliet’s conversation in scene two using text messages. Look back at the beginning of the scene for what they talk about.

-At least 15 texts

-Use text language (I Luv U)

-Make sure to follow the story and dialogue of the characters.

-Texts should still incorporate both characters voice and way of thinking

Juliet: No way. Yuk yuk yuk. N-e-way, am mard 2 Rom.

Capulet: Obey or die.

Juliet: U r sooo mean!

Lady Capulet: Talk to the hand.

Juliet: Suicide!

Nurse: Mry Paris.

Juliet: Old jerk. ‘M goin to see Friar.

Act V

Friar: Really? O no! U wl have 2 take potion--makes u look ded.
Juliet: Gr8 :(

Romeo: J - why r u not returning my texts?
Romeo: J - RUOK? Am abroad but phone still works.
Romeo: TEXT ME, J!

Balty: Bad news. J dead. Sorry l8

Romeo: J-wish u wr able 2 read this...am now poisoning & and climbing in yr grave. LUV U Jul xxxx

Juliet: R - got yr text! Am alive! Ws faking it! Whr RU?

Juliet: Oh...

Friar: Vry bad situation. I’m out.

Juliet: Nightmare. LUVU2, R. Always. Dagger. Ow!!!
