We deeply appreciate your business and thelong-term relationship we have. There comes a time, and with much reservation,that wemust announce an upcoming change in Roman Marblene pricing. So, effective April 1, 2017 new pricing will be implemented on orders received after that date. There is never a good time for this, and as most of you know, we haveexperienced some trying times in business this past year. We have taken many necessary steps with investments in our people, plant and equipment. These stepshave helped us turn the corner returning to more normal lead times.
We are proud of the fact that we have been able to contain costing pressures over the past 3 years. Eventhoughthe market has improved considerably, we are now experiencing rising costs in several areas that can no longer be absorbed. Most notably is the cost of labor. Secondly, over the last 90 days raw material costs have risen to levels we haven’t seen for years. We have worked hard, and as mentioned, have turned the corner returning to normal turnaround times. But, one of the biggest challenges we were facedwith was the success of the Roma Vein color family. Our original goal was to offer a larger selection ofbase priced colors. The fact is, Roma Vein and Roma Premier are both produced the same way, andthe only way we can continue to still offer the Roma Vein colors at the base price, is to have an across the board price increase that is sorely needed.
Formal price lists will be emailed to those who have provided us with an email addresses. This will befollowed by a mailing of a hard copyof the price list for your catalog. And, for immediate and continued access, the price list is available to our customers at . This is an “Excel” file that you can edit as you see fit. Please note, we will honor pricing on all orders you have placed beforeApril 1, 2017.
Also, Roman Marblene is offering a new option to ourchina bowl selection. We now have the “Wave” style under-mount “China” bowl. This bowl will be referred to as the “Scoop” bowl style so not to be confused with the “Custom Marble Wave” bowl. This bowl is available in white only. It should help you capture sales quicker by offering this as well as the other types of “China” bowls without having to send us your bowl. Spec sheets will be in the dealer section on the website soon.
