Corporate Assistant

(Part of the overarching Nordoff Robbins Fundraising, Communications & Marketing team)
Location:
Nordoff Robbins, 2 Lissenden Gardens, Highgate, London NW5 1PQ / Hours: 9:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday (the role has a requirement for working flexible hours and attending events outside office hours when needed)

ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Corporate Assistant plays a vital role in developing and maintaining relationships and income streams with new and existing corporate partners. From assisting the Senior Corporate Manager with the logistical delivery of all aspects of the corporate fundraising portfolio to individually stewarding certain corporate relationships and fundraising campaigns, the Corporate Assistant will play a crucial role in the fundraising team.

Key responsibilities and deliverables

New Business

  • Support the Senior Corporate Manager in identifying potential new corporate partners and areas where we can grow existing partnerships to generate more fundraising income
  • Assist with the production of any materials necessary to generate new business – pitch templates, videos etc
  • Research target prospective partners and provide information and ideas to be incorporated in the respective pitches
  • Assist the Senior Corporate Manager in pitch presentations and meetings with existing and potential corporate partners

Account Management

  • Support the design, development and delivery of corporate partner communications, including the newsletter, thank yous and any appeal communications
  • Support the Senior Corporate Managerto look after our existing corporate partnerships – taking primary responsibility for the <£5k corporate relationships and other appropriate partnerships, and ensuring they are engaged and up to date with Nordoff Robbins
  • Assist the Senior Corporate Manager with the stewarding of high value partnerships, through logistical and comms support
  • Compile and send information and fundraising packs to corporate supporters,in particular for challenge events and other campaigns
  • Help organise open days and centre visits for corporate partners

Donation managementand administration

  • Record, manage and maintain all corporate fundraising incomeon the databaseand be the main point of contact between the finance team and the fundraising (corporate) team
  • Assist the Senior Corporate Manager with budget planning and management
  • Provide up to date and accurate information on donations to the fundraising (corporate)team, helping us to maximise income
  • Inputting and maintaining corporate related data on the supporter database
  • Help meet legal and policy requirements for fundraising (FRSB)
  • Manage supplies of all corporate fundraising materials, placing orders with external suppliers as needed, e.g. stationary, t-shirts
  • Support the development and delivery of corporate fundraising marketing materials

Fundraising research

  • Providead hoc research for the corporate team using the in-house database, trustfunding.org database and other on-line resources
  • Assist the corporate fundraising team in identifying new sources of fundraising
  • Support regional planning and fundraising by completing research for the corporateregional strategy

Education/Qualifications
Educated to a degree level (Marketing, Communications or otherrelevant field) / Desirable
Knowledge and Experience
Experience working in a team which is working towards achieving income targets / Essential
Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using a database / Essential
Experience using social media in a work related setting / Essential
Experience using MailChimp / Desirable
Experience working with fundraising volunteers / Desirable
Experience in data management, possibly including financial data / Essential
Experience using Adobe creative suite including (Publisher, InDesign, photo shop, Dreamweaver) / Desirable
Ability and experience in preparing presentations / Essential
Experience of working in a charity or other not for profit organisation / Desirable
