Job Purpose

The role of Resourcing Administrator is to provide an efficient and professional support service to the Resourcing Department enabling the efficient and timely placement of both external and internal resources across the Trust.

Accountabilities

  • To provide an effective, professional and efficient resourcing administration service and to be a professional, helpful and polite first point of contact providing appropriate sign-posting and follow-up of queries.
  • To administratethe resourcing process working with attention to time andaccuracy, maintaining regular contact with all applicants so that their experience of the organisation is a positive one.
  • To ensure the need for emergency shift cover is met through the placement of internal bank workers using proactive communication methods.
  • To undertake resourcing project work as required and to understand and be up-to-date with currentrecruitment trends including the use and benefits of social media (Facebook, CV databases,LinkedIn, Adwords) and use these tools in the resourcing process as appropriate.
  • To support the work of the wider HR team by ensuring that information received in the department isstored and used securely and appropriately, in a way that supports the service and enables colleagues touse the information as necessary
  • To ensure that you are responsible for continuous and improved service delivery and offercreative, constructive and appropriate suggestions to improve this.
  • To ensure accurate information systems and resources (both electronic and manual) are accessible, logical and regularly reviewed and updated.

Other

Travel May be required for recruitment events/days. Where possible this will be discussed and arranged in advance. Mileage will be paid at a rate of 45 pence per mile in line with HMRC guidelines

Person Specification

Essential / Desirable/Ideal
Qualifications / Educated to at least GCSE Level A-C or equivalent in Maths and English or ability to achieve the relevant standard in the numeracy and literacy assessment / NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent
Skills / Proficient in the use of Social Media in a professional or personal capacity
Effective time management and work prioritisation skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, service users and a range of stakeholders
Able to build productive working relationships and partnerships
Ability to identify issues and develop a logical and clear approach to problem solving, with the ability to resolve conflict using own judgement
Pro-active and creative thinking
Ability to present clear, professional materials to suit different audiences, paying attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and be self-motivated.
Strong IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
Experience / Experience of effective time management and work prioritisation and the ability to work well and positively under pressure.
To be able to demonstrate the ability to identify issues and develop a logical, pro-active and creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to resolve conflict using your own judgement.
Experience in an administrative role supporting a team.
Significant experience of office administration work including proficient in the use of Word and Excel and database work.
